greg1229
If is it isn't one thing, it's another with Baby Girl As you may recall from previous posts, when I took Baby Girl in a couple of weeks ago for her gum biopsy she had a "happy tail" issue. So the end of the tail was wrapped up. This morning I took her in to have the vet check the biopsy site and start her on the immune-supressant drugs for the gum problems. Well, that is on hold now. When the vet went to unwrap the bandages from the tip of her tail, there was no tip...Ouch.. Nothing but about an inch of tailbone exposed. SO I left her there for a partial tail amputation. Then I bring her home this evening and MAYBE in another couple of weeks when that heals we start the other drugs. When it rains, it pours..(I know that phrase is foreign to us desert dwellers ) Edited August 20, 2011 by greg1229 Quote Isis, Always in my Heart Bijou, My Sweetest Angel

greg1229
OW! How is she today, Greg? She is doing ok today..Doesn't look like they had to remove a lot of tail. She is on her antibiotics and some tramadol. Seh has been hanging out in the living room with me some but prefers my bedroom and the papasan pad. She hasn't been licking the bandage so, so far so good. I take her back in Wed. for a bandage change and them about a week later she have the sutures taken out. Her is my little one drugged and snoozing..you can see the bandage work.
