Guest borzoix4 Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Some of you already know this- but a month ago on April 21st, our neighbors unsupervised kids vandalidized our fence right panel, rendering a left panel connecting lock to be useless. That morning at 5am my husband let the 4 dogs out, and all 4 dogs escaped the open busted gate. While the other 3 were found, sadly our Precious Nina was stuck and killed instantly by a car. The police were called and criminal trespass charges were filed and are in the process of waiting for our civil trail. While this won't bring our darling baby back, we hope and pray Justice is served. Darling Nina- your loss is so deeply felt the silence is deafening. We miss you darling. The only solice we have as confirmed by the vets, is that Nina never knew what hit her as she died instantly. Doing what she loved to do the most in the world - to Run! My dogs have no idea that running could possibly get them injured or worst as never are they loose in a unfenced area. Lindey was with her. When I saw where Nina was ( crumpled on a highway exit ramp) I took the van the wrong way down the ramp. AS I and a man that stopped to help tried to life her lifeless body into my van, I heard crying and turned to see Lindsey hiding in a side ditch. I picked Lindsey up and put her in the front seat of the van. Its been horrid. I am so anal about security and safety and NEVER have I had something like this.
