Guest Balfie Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 We noticed lumps in our girlies neck, at the top, near her jaw and thought it was probably just swollen glands. Looked it up on here to be sure and got a bit worried so booked to take her to the vet for a check up. But you know how it is, so many times you worry its something serious and it turns out not to be. But this time it is something serious. He said its her lymph glands, and they are all enlarged all over her body. I didnt know where to look for the others before but now he has showed me I know. The ones near her chest are almost golf ball sized. She has to go for a biopsy this Monday to confirm but the vet said he will be very surprised if its not cancer. He said its one that can be treated, she can have chemo, so we just have to hope that the chemo will help her. The bottom has dropped out of our world, I cant believe she has cancer.
