fsugrad
We just got back from visiting Robin at the vet school today. He is doing much better! His leg, which was swollen from the shoulder down to his paw, is now only swollen from ankle (hock? not sure of correct term) down to his paw. Right now he looks like he has 3 greyhound paws and 1 mismatched great dane paw. And when he came out to the waiting area to greet us, he was walking on all four legs/bearing weight on his bad paw! This is SOOOO much better than he was when he had to be admitted Fri afternoon. On Friday he was hopping on 3 legs and dragging the front leg like it was a useless appendage, which I guess it actually was. And the vet staff said he has been eating well, scarfing down his food. They said he had to stay at least 1 more day. They will re-evaluate him tomorrow and call me and let me know what they think as far as when he can come home. But at this point I am just so happy with how much he's improved that if he needs to stay there even a couple more days, that would be fine with me.
