Look at the eyes of both of you! Don't you see the connection? I can actually see a cord or bridge or something- its there. That is a very special picture! Please don't have any negative feelings about when he crossed over. You were there and he was enveloped in your love and you helped him cross over as no one else could have. He knows that and is grateful. Regarding- ".....His little bat head will no longer be staring out at me from the back window when I come up the driveway. There will be no more games of fetch in the big fenced field, no more opportunities to see the look of sheer joy on his face when he runs. He will no longer be hovering by the counter when I chop veggies for dinner, staring at the growing pile and silently urging it to fall to the floor. We won’t hear the staccato of his nails on the side of our bed at night while he dreams.
