No bone biopsy, she said that the ortho said " Marybeth, (that is my vet's name) if this were my dog, I wouldn't d*ck around with the biopsy, she is in too much pain, we have to amputate"". They will send the leg out for biopsy and then determine the course of chemo. God help us all. If it's any consolation, he said that greys adapt extremely well to amputation. Dr. Couto and his staff are also available for consultations.
