So glad that the acupuncture visit went well!

I am glad the x-rays didn't show anything bad. I am also glad you found an acupuncturist to take her to. The acu. can take a little while to work, but the pred should start helping her right away.

Obviously something has changed, so a complete exam (blood work, etc) would be my first step. I think printing out what you wrote in the first post (or rewriting it) and giving it to the vet to read should give him a pretty good idea on what has changed. Hope you can figure it out

It does sound like more than a muscle pull, I think trying pred is worth a shot. I can't remember, did you try acupuncture? Is that a possibility where you are? When Sugar was almost 12, she started having spinal issues and almost couldn't walk (some days she could barly stand). A shot of pred got her temporary relief, and the acupuncture brought her back to about 90% mobility (with no more pred). Adequan shots also helped after she got going again.

I think Fletcher got his eating feral cat poop the little buggers are insidious! I hope Rocket starts to feel better soon.
