    Yes, a very hot topic! My only suggestion is to get the full panel done, not just the T4 test. That seems to be where a lot of the misdiagnosis comes in, as the levels that are low for most dogs are not low for sight hounds. Doesn't mean your dog isn't hypothyroid, just means you need to do a more extensive test.

    I am glad the x-rays didn't show anything bad. I am also glad you found an acupuncturist to take her to. The acu. can take a little while to work, but the pred should start helping her right away.

    Obviously something has changed, so a complete exam (blood work, etc) would be my first step. I think printing out what you wrote in the first post (or rewriting it) and giving it to the vet to read should give him a pretty good idea on what has changed. Hope you can figure it out
