  1. Sweep, you are such a beautiful and brave girl. We send all the best love, healing energy, good vibes your way.
  2. I'm on Chrome, still getting weird behavior. Logged in, logged out, yes post, no post...
  3. Tongues Out Tuesday is on Sunday this week!
  4. I'm a huge advocate of muzzles--they may hate wearing them, but it keeps everyone safer.
  5. Fuzzy will ONLY eat baby carrots. The boys eat the big ones just so the other one can't have it.
  6. Yep, that happened to me--senior or special needs (I had a diabetic cat in the past, so chronic illness is no stranger in this house!), ended up with the Ginormous Galoot, soon to be 2.5. Good luck, any way it shakes out!
  7. My adoption group does rehome biters--I have one. Bites are an extreme reaction. That and the other behavior shows your grey needs more than you can give her. Some greys just need a home without children or with only one owner. Call your group NOW.
  8. The plaster one that's now in Canada is super goofy. Check out the Wikipedia article.
  9. I looked on Ebay last nite, the silver version of the greyhound coin was going for about $80, and the 5 quid coin was about $30? Looks very nice.
  10. I've gotten four greyhounds trained to use open-back stairs. Each one took a little time, but I got thru it and they know FOOD is at the top of those stairs! Fuzzy took the longest, she wants to go up ONE specific side of the stairs and won't budge until she can. Roman was difficult because he's HUGE and I had to push and lift him to get his feet going.
  11. They can sleep quite comfortably in their basket muzzle, my boys do due to resource (bed) guarding.
  12. Give them a big, huge YAWN Logan, then the resemblance is uncanny!
  13. Roman is the whinest dog I've ever had. He is convinced I will forget mealtime, outs, that he even exists...I have gotten him to do it less, but he still does.
  14. Fuzzy MUST LIK-LIK any and all scabs til they are removed, so I think it's itchyness, too. I use a spray for feline hot spots if the pups get too obsessed about licking and make it worse.
  15. Roman came home kinda dirty (he's white with fawn) and sorta smelly, but he's just kinda smelly now. He had spots/ticking, but boy howdy does he have SPOTS now. I'm guessing the Florida kennel was all shaded and now he gets to sunbathe and all.
  16. America's Vet Dogs treats, the trio gives them 6 paws up!
  17. Wow! Is she white with NO ticking? Not even one-speckle spot? She is one pretty gurl!
  18. The boys do it, they are like, "ready-aim--nah". And you know their bladders have infinite capacity.
  19. If you are bringing just one or two hounds, the Doubletree up the hill (and it is UP THE HILL) is recommended. I've got reservations at the Super 8 down the hill from the SJ. I may have to get Roman the Galoot to pull me up the hill by the end of the weekend, LOL.
  20. Bill, we really hope to see all of you there! I used to drive from Memphis to my parent's house in VA, at least it was scenic!
  21. I also have a just over 2 year old, it's been quite a different experience from my other greys. He is one crazy bouncy boy. Congrats!
  22. Her master's voice? Picking up signals from Alpha Centauri? My Fuzzy is a terrible scab picker, I have no doubt she'd have picked those stitches, too. And another with the obnoxious boss that can't keep it short and sweet.
  23. I think giving G CBD oil helped his bald thighs fill in, plus he now has bunny-soft furs. And Sweep, you have our permission to chomp any one who make fun of your bum!
