  1. Dear Punkin, 'tis. No braces for this poor kid growing up. SMILE!
  2. As you can see, he's related to Fuzzy! She is a super sweet girl with a naughty streak, so maybe that holds the same! OF course, us enablers will tell you to get both and have a household full of Mayhem.
  3. She's absolutely gorgeous and I hope you can get her! Muzzle, baby gates, strict correction, working with a trainer...all good tools in your kit. I will say that Fuzzy is great with INDOOR cats, but wait till she sees a critter outdoors. She even reared up and barked at a bear at MH two years ago.
  4. GTer Bill419 is in Bartlett, he may be able to help you out. Although, Roman was supposed to be "cat trainable", he does need reminding "friends not food!", especially when they run. Still got the puppy brain. Yes, get a black one!
  5. Baby gate if needed, but Fuzzy sleeps with me, Roman on a dog bed, in the bedroom, and G is either in the living room or with us. If he stays down the hall, he'll usually come to the bedroom around sunrise. Roman is the morning alarm clock, he gets whiny. G is dinner and chew bone time alarm, he'll bark at me if I don't move fast enough. Fuzzy prefers comfort and sleep! If they need a middle of the night potty, Roman gets pacey and whiny, G has accidents. Poor guy.
  6. Another Greyt Event in the can! We are so glad we could meet a whole bunch of GT'ers "in da fur". The weather started out stormy and ended quite nicely, with lower humidity than previous years. There were multiple bear sightings, but the pick-a-nik baskets remained undisturbed. See you next year!
  7. NOOO NOT BEAUTIFUL SWEEP! Run pain free, sweet girl.
  8. Fuzzy is all about the scritches, she'll do that, too!
  9. I can deal with dry heat, at least the sweat does something! 5 years in south Texas, good times! I was lucky enough to work midnight shifts a lot during the summer. Hot still, but you didn't have to deal with the sun.
  10. I first read about it on Reddit, it's apparently something vets in Europe were doing? Anyway, there's a study from UGA addressing it, the file is too big to attach here.
  11. Attention! There is still time to register!
  12. Thankfully the fires are out! Have you been practicing your Poo Toss? Roooing with the neighborhood? Carrying as much gear in one trip as you can up the stairs?
  13. BUMP! Two more months (dat's a lot of sleeps!) to go. I've been keeping an eye on the wildfire nearby, it is to the slight north and west of G'burg right now.
  14. I talked to the Sidney James yesterday, there are a few rooms left, on the non-creekside.
  15. LOL, I walk three at a time, I got nothin on that guy!
  16. https://gfncmountainhounds.com/ ROLL CALL!
  17. Love watching them run, they are so beautiful! Congrats, from us who are black (G) and a huge lump (R) and a lovely girl (F).
  18. I recommend Zero Odor for cleaning up pet accidents, they have sprays and laundry additives. For deeper stains in carpet, you may have to pull up the carpet and replace the padding.
  19. Had a cat (part Siamese, of course) that chewed and/or ate just about anything he could get his chomps around; plastic anything was a perpetual favorite. Both Fuzzy and Roman have gotten ahold of my bras.
  20. Could also be some joint pain, a vet visit may be in order. My gang gets CBD oil and monthly chiro treatments, and G gets cold laser (he's 7.5).
  21. Roman is a huge boy, his sire was also enormous. Johnny was tall, and LOOOONNNG.
  22. Bumping in Memory of our Sweet friend Lilly...Run Free, brite star!
  23. Hmm, my youngest has splayed REAR toes. When he walks, he does put more weight on the toes, as opposed to the two oldest who walk more flat footed. He has been seen by my vet, after having shoulder/front leg issues, the vet thinks it's more of a soft tissue issue. So, maybe a ligament or something is sliding the wrong way and popping and that's what he's reacting to? Maybe a boot would help keep the toes aligned and help healing?
