  1. I'm so sorry that the monster osteo has broken your heart again. Run free, precious boy. Your Mom loves you so.
  2. I know how frustrating and sad it is when it's the external things that cause so many problems. Our Lydia's nemesis was the steps as well. But like you, we were blessed that she had many years (14 1/2) without any major problems. 15/12 years----how wonderful that Pearl was able to be part of a loving family for so long. I'm so sorry you lost your precious lady.
  3. Oh, my gosh, she was beautiful (reminds me so much of my Lydia), and exceptional. And just perfect for you. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Maggie.
  4. Oh, Tricia and Burke....... I'm crying too, because you described so eloquently the deep love that all of you shared. Clearly, Murray was exactly where he was meant to be. And when a match is so perfect, both dog and human are much more together than they could ever be apart. You were truly blessed to have found each other. And his many friends and fans were blessed because you shared him so unselfishly. Thanks for that. And thanks for one of the most heartfelt tributes I've seen. I didn't know a lot of that special history, and the commitment that went into making a life together that was filled with love. I guess, like osteo, a damn tumor is a crapshoot, and sometimes we win, and sometimes everything we do just isn't enough. But you have to try, and how hard you tried, with all the love and strength you had. And he always, always knew that. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Murray.
  5. I was so sad to see this on Facebook. She must have been sweet, talented, generous, and have had a great sense of humor. I've been looking, but can't find my pics of Polly in one of her hats.
  6. Oh, the sweet girl.....Joining the many good thoughts being sent to you both. Hoping for a positive update.
  7. Where did you get it? I checked, and CVS and Rite Aid both sell an ichthanol ointment. Is this what you used? I'd read about using Burt's Bees cuticle ointment, and I've been trying that. One corn is almost ready to come off, I think. But I can't keep it on Calvin for long either. I've ordered some soft boots he can wear in the house---they haven't come yet. But I think if I can keep either ointment on him, it will help.
  8. So young....such a tragic loss of a very lovely person. I'm so sad to hear this, and sending much sympathy to those who loved her.
  9. What an incredibly beautiful tribute! "We had 4,678,560 moments of love together, Mr Man... we could have had ten times that many, and it wouldn't have been enough." You both were so blessed, and truly meant to have a life together. But you're right, the time is never enough. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Pippin. Thank-you for sharing him with us.
  10. Oh, my gosh, what a sad time you've had! I'm so sorry that osteo stole your precious Ceecee from you.
  11. It's especially hard when the losses come so close together. I understand. So sorry you had to say goodbye to your precious Roo.
  12. Thanks for posting those wonderful pictures. I only met Darcy when she had her lovely silver face. It was nice to see her in her younger days too. She really did have a great life with you and her sisters, didn't she? I'm so sorry you lost your precious Darcy.
  13. Alicia, I'm just seeing this! Wow, I didn't know you had a new addition. I'm so thrilled for you and Sterling and Truman. I wish we could have found someone for you, but you're right---the cat safe ones are harder to find. Wolf sounds perfect for your family. I think the cats will train him. I know mine are so used to big dogs that they seldom run if someone wants to chase them, and that takes all the fun out of it. I'd been thinking about you, and wondering how you were doing, and hoping you were okay. I'm so glad your beautiful new boy is making you smile!
  14. Oh, Barb, I know losing your precious girl, especially when you were in no way prepared, was devastating for you. Sending hugs to you and Tick. I'm so very sorry.
  15. Ah, the precious little lady.... I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye to Marley.
  16. What precious gifts he gave you. And oh, my gosh, he was so beautiful! I'm so sorry you lost your sweet Max.
  17. Shannon, such a sad time for you. Lucius' loss, especially one so sudden, is heartbreaking. I'm so sorry you lost your beautiful, precious boy.
  18. Tears for your pain, your heartbreak, and for the devastation of such a sudden loss. But what a lovely gentleman he must have been, wanting to stay as long as he could with the people he loved the best. I'm so sorry you lost your precious TK.
  19. Oh, Liz, I'm so sorry. He did indeed know that he was exactly where he was supposed to be.
  20. Anne, like the many people who loved her, I'm so sad to see your lovely lady's name here. Your video brought tears, not only because you had to say goodbye, but because she was so incredibly beautiful. Your pictures always captured her sweetness and her happiness, and we enjoyed them so much over the years. Though we will miss her, we're grateful that you shared her with us. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Spriet.
  21. If ever a dog was exactly where she was supposed to be, it was Irene. I'm so sorry you lost your brave and precious lady.
  22. Oh, Mary, I'm so sorry cancer stole your precious boy from you way too soon. How you loved him, and he knew it.
  23. I know what it feels like to lose two precious dogs within weeks. I'm so sorry.
  24. How sad that you lost this exceptional lady. I'm so sorry she couldn't have stayed longer.
