Remembering my beautiful Cody-girl today - I can't believe it's been THIRTEEN years since she went to the bridge... a VERY few of you still here probably remember her She's the one who introduced me to the wonderful cult of greyhound... And I'm still here, despite not ever getting another dog (maybe someday...) Can't post a pic 'cause I'm at work & all my pix are at OTHER work or at home... (think red brindle...) - but her pic is in my siggie (Title is wrong - she was born in 1992 - I got her in Nov '96...)

Asaaaaaack!!! I can't make it this year! (Sorry, MP...) I didn't look at the dates & signed up for a trip! Oh, well... there's always next year... (AND I'll be retired by then!)

think they DO recognize other greys... they always look at other breeds kind of funny...

Sometimes, a grey will jump a fence in a turnout pen & there'll be an unregistered pregnancy - they can't register the litter as racers so they will often adopt them all out. OR some young ones have an injury or something that keeps them from ever racing...
