Guest lotsogreysmom Posted May 3, 2012 Share Posted May 3, 2012 We had to send our old girl, Destiny, to the bridge tonight. We took her to see our vet tonight and they agreed that she had a lot of issues going on. She had some type of nerve damage in her back end that was causing her to lose her bowels and poop and pee without even knowing it. The past few days she would poop on top of her blankets and actually lay on top of it. That's not normal. Then the past 2 days she would bark at us like she was going to bite us. She never liked other people and would fear bite if someone came in she didn't know. Well, she started doing this with us the last 2 days. The vet said she believed that she had like a doggie Alzheimer's and really didn't know what was going on. She also had either chronic bronchitis or a tumor in her throat. So, there were lots of issues going on so the vet agreed the only choice was euthanasia. We miss her dearly but know it was the best thing for her. She had a rough few last days.
