Even the vet that checked her in today had never seen anything like it. There are times you really hate to have your dog be a one-of-a-kind dog. Thinking good thoughts for Gracie... Fortunately she is not trying to mess with her stitches at all. I hope that continues as they don't come out for 10 days. Before we adopted him, the vet thought it could be lupus, but he's seen him twice since and ruled it out. During our last visit, we asked about the nose again and he mentioned that since it wasn't spreading anywhere and Sprinkles wasn't bothered by it that we shouldn't worry, but now I wonder if this is something I should be concerned about. They also went on to say that the punch biopsy specimens were poor quality and a re-biopsy could be considered. Unless her nose gets particularly gnarly and she has no other symptoms we will leave it alone. She has had a histiocytoma on her foot for years that comes and goes with no problems.
