patricia
I noticed this afternoon that Flashy was drinking a lot more than usual. Tonight he did not finish his dinner. What he did eat came up~he does not feel well at all. I gave him some Cerenia and hope that all is well by morning. If he gets worse we will be going into ER. If he is not himself in the morning we will be taking a trip into see Dr. Beth. He just looks so sad. Temp is normal. He did chew on his rawhide bone today and maybe for some reason it upset his tummy...but then he chews on them all the time. He didn't break off any big pieces...I always watch them when they chew. Anyway...he just can't be sick...he just can't. Quote Patti-Mommy of Lady Sophia 7-28-92 - 8-3-04... LaceyLaine 8-2-94-12-5-07... Flash Gordon 7-14-99 - 8-29-09... Guest Snowy8
Lots of prayers that its just being tired from all that rawhide chewing. See if he'll eat something other than doggie food, like cottage cheese or something yummy. But to be on the safe side, prayers going up too! Guest Tenderhearts
Patti, just an afterthought. You know that Toby is Amber's heart dog. She has had him for almost 8 years now. When she ran away and ended up being in a foster home and was gone for 16 months, he really scared me. He started throwing up on a regular basis after he ate. He was morose and laid around. Off to the vet's we went, tests showed absolutely nothing. We were talking about the possibility of him mourning Amber being gone. The vet put him on carafate for his tummy, and I switched him to a sensitive stomach kibble. The vomiting quit. Since she's back home, he's back on the regular kibble, no more carafate, and no more vomiting. Perhaps Flashman is mourning his sweet sister Lacers
