  1. I saw a few pictures of that gathering on Reddit! I looked for hounds I recognized...
  2. BUMP! LAST DAY TO REGISTER! Oh, my friendlies, are you getting excited? Got your wardrobe picked out? Bug spray, sunscreen, poopie bags?
  3. I think Wendy will be the lucky adopter, I don't think Fuzzy would like to not be the only QUEEN. Plus I would need to buy a school bus for all these pups!
  4. You know everyone wants her, specially those of us in lady-headed households (Jan, cough cough, among others).
  5. Chris, it looks like Burt's Bees has multiple choices for hand cream, which one is the one you recommend?
  6. BUMP Last day for a very stylish MH t-shirt (altho they may have a scant few for sale at the event!) Registration closes in TWO WEEKS. That's 14 sleeps by houndie time.
  7. G is missing a few teeth, with some just stumps--and he still hasn't figured out his tongue yet! Peas are challenge. Fortunately Fuzzy is a crumb-snatching machine.
  8. Oh, oh, my girlie, gentle . FroYo for a month for you (and your sissie).
  9. BUMP Deadline fast approaching! But we know you've looked for loose change under your car seat and between the couch cushions, and got enough to get all those raffle tickets and t-shirts you've been wanting!
  10. Fuzzy is our shredder! She wants to destroy the recyclables before they go out the door, and I've had to move my paperbacks to different spots on the bookcase.
  11. I've met Nate, he is a sweet goof when he's not going Cujo! Of course, around other GH owners, they heed the "blind dog" banner on his leash, it's the non-GH that don't seem to understand that GHs are breed snobs to begin with and the blindness just adds to it.
  12. OH, yes, I have a jumper, too. Roman is the same age, 80+ pounds, and tall and long. He loves to meet people, gets so excited! ABOUT! EVERYTHING! and then he does his worst to knock me and everyone else down. I agree w/Lucy, use the leash to keep him from as much jumping as you can. Depending on your size, and your grey's size, this may be easier said than done. You can step on the leash to help with the control. A trainer can help you with this, too!
  13. Nutmeg, Fuzzy would like to learn your ways! She is always going too fast on the kitchen floor at my mom's house and losing her grip. And we need a video!!
  14. Yeah, some pic links expire after a while--but he's super cute and worth looking at! I hope his presence is helping Howie gain more confidence. I can always send the Galoot up there!
  15. I've got an Odyssey, too, I really like mine, good on gas and lots of room for all of us. The collision avoidance can be a little touchy at times, it's put on the auto braking for a shadow on the road, which is NOT helpful when passing a semi.
  16. Thanks for the rec! Roman has had a variety of stomach issues from day one, even keeping him to a diet of same-old same-old doesn't totally prevent the squishies.
  17. Yes, I'd be extra salty and looking for a new walker (maybe via Rover?). Roman gets his own exercise walk (as opposed to the old hound P&P shuffles we do!) about midday, and I leave a key, a check, and some biscuits (and maybe a towel and some wasp spray!) on the bar for my one in-office day. The walker comes in, gets R, everyone gets a few treats, and that's it.
  18. Buddy, Fuzzy tripped UP the stairs in sympathy today, she thought there would be a C-A-T at the top of the stairs and out-ran herself! She isn't the brightest, either!
  19. Ain't no fool like an old fool, I say! G went all out when he had an opportunity, and was all the next day. Buddy, I give you these and wishes for a speedy recovery. A little fish & chips would help, wouldn't they?? Roman got a wound on hind foot, and I found that using a panty liner/maxi/sanitary napkin works great for wrapping around it, since they are sticky on one side. Put a maxi, then some vet wrap.
  20. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning! More snow for y'all. I think you might thaw out in time for the 4th.
  21. Johnny was a Southland boy, too! Thanks for sharing. Love the beautiful amber eyes, so intense.
  22. G has taken to peeing on asphalt, instead of up a tree or in the leaves & grass. I was thinking maybe it's more comfortable for him to stand flat (stallion stance) and wee, due to the arthritis in his hips. He's always been a bit of a goof.
