  1. I am so sorry Aiden had to leave. Run Free Aiden! Enjoy creating mayhem at the Bridge!
  2. Beka thought that the chemo treatments were no big deal, actually a time to socialize and nap! The vet techs loved her!
  3. Rachel, our girl Beka had a front leg amputation so the limitations were a little different when it came to potty time, but it sounds like Sweep is doing really well since she is on post-op day 2. Beka was a little loopy on her meds initially so the vet switched them out and she did better. I also tried creative methods to get her to take her meds- the one that worked the best was Kaukauna cheese spread ( or any other brand). It comes in a plastic container and is firm, spoons out and then I made a little ball around the pills. I still use it today for Ivy's prescription meds too.
  4. Good morning Sweep et al ! I hope you are feeling well this morning!
  5. Rachel, just remember that the first two weeks are REALLY difficult, and then she will turn the corner and slowly return to her normal self. Sending to you and Sweep!
  6. We will be backandforfandbackandforf-ing for Sweep tomorrow! With her personality, she should be able to manage this quite well. Remember the first two weeks are the hardest! I am speaking from experience. The cast art is adorable!
  7. Such a beautiful video and love story! I'm sorry Fencetop had to leave you too but I am sure Mary found Fencetop and they are napping together again.
  8. In the tuna treats recipe, when you say "fine dice", exactly how small do you dice them?
  9. Happy Birthday Petunia! You are a beautiful girl!
  10. Welcome home Kelsey/Fiona/Dyani! You look like you are settling in quite well. You are lucky to have Miss Ducky as a Fairy Godmother!
  11. Our girl Beka acted like a puppy until she was 6 years old! Cherry is currently 5 years old and still exhibits some puppy behavior but is calming down (sort of). We got them when they were 3.5 (several years apart) and they were both very puppylike then. We adopted Ivy when she had just turned 2- very puppy-like! She stayed that way until she was about 4, then calmed down to her current mature, sophisticated lady demeanor. Good luck with your boy. Enjoy and savor each stage of his life!
  12. Ivy and Cherry have a Lambchomp too. Here is Ivy lounging with Lambchomp. Cherry would just run around and chomp on her. (on Lambchop, not Ivy)
