  1. Has unitary infection been ruled out? Sometimes they are difficult to diagnose. I would start by taking him to the vet. Iker had a similar problem. It was difficult to diagnose anything, but we put him on antibiotics because everything else was ruled out. The peeing stopped.
  2. Cool! I work for a company that designs and manufacturers that equipment. I have never heard of it being used on dogs.
  3. I noticed that you mentioned him, but didn't know who he was. Congratulations! He is very handsome. Also seems like he comes from the Xavi Academy of Food Etiquette (last night's e vet visit was for consumption of dark chocolate covered figs). We can compare notes
  4. Let me know if ther is anything I can do, ok? The webmaster harness should be great.
  5. How scary! Are you ok? Greyhounds are used to having their own private space at the track. They essentially live in crates. Sometimes it takes a while to adjust to people getting so close and occasionally they will never like it. This isn't unusual. Three weeks is a very short period of time. You might not want to get so close when he is one a bed, especially if it is his "quiet place". Leave him alone and give him space. I believe that he had been warning you with his growls and snaps. If he is sleeping on your bed, I suggest you kick him out and take away his bed privileges. If he was on his own bed, give him space and leave him alone when he is on it. Personally I've nev experienced this so I'm sure people who have will chime in. Good luck and patience.
  6. I live with one of them. Be patient and let her come to you when she's ready. She may never completely be the friendly, outgoing dog that some people want (not saying that is the case with you), but just love her and accept her for who she is.
  7. Interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing the results with dogs who did not undergo amputation.
  8. Hating the crate does not necessary mean SA. She just might hate the crate. No crate.
  9. Wonderful news! Happy Birthday Desi! You both received the best present of all
  10. Hope Desi is better and home for his birthday.
  11. Depends on the dog. I take mine all over with me and they are fine.
  12. Welcome from Kitchener! My dogs all chose me from a pool of cat safe hounds.
  13. Derek, I'm so very worry. I always enjoyed seeing pictures of Brucie. Btw, when I try to view the video, it says not available
  14. I've had three and didn't find them particularity expensive. The most expensive vet bills occurred when they ate something that I shouldn't have left within their reach; for example, $2300 when Loca ate a bottle of vitamins.
  15. She's in pain. My vet told me that they are great at masking it, but that osteo is a very, very painful disease, even with pain meds. I have lost three hounds to osteo, and I let them go when it got to where pain meds needed to be increased. I'm sorry
  16. Welcome from Kitchener! He's a beauty.
  17. I'm so very sorry. She was very special
