My Girls are Rock Stars!

Recommended Posts

We have 3-year-old Staghound littermates, Kaja and Potter.  We've had Kaja for almost 6 months, and Potter for only 5 weeks.  Hubby works from home and I'm a teacher, so while Kaja has had some days alone last spring, Potter has only experienced us both gone for a couple hours at a time.  Today, hubby is out of town and I had to go in to school for several hours.  The girls stayed alone for 6 hours (both uncrated) and they were perfect!  Here's what I imagine they were doing while I was gone...https://photos.app.goo.gl/QhqkMHWhP5CVTrho9

(hope the picture works...I haven't done it that way before).

What gorgeous girls!

Yes, they've cultivated very convincing "innocent faces"--along with what we call Kaja's "crossed paws of elegance," they certainly project the picture of goodness, don't they?  Although the presence of the "Smurf poop" toy on the couch and the crinkly watermelon on the dog bed suggest that there may have been some shenanigans at some point :D

You will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor would you want to. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
