Remolacha
Sigh. At least he said Whippets, not Great Danes or Chihuahuas or something else. I said, no, greyhounds, but he wasn’t listening.

EllenEveBaz
Why do so many people say whippets? They're just as uncommon as greys, aren't they? ramonaghan
We get that all the time too! Plus Saluki once, speaking of uncommon... But lately most annoying is my neighbor asking about Sweep, "what is she, about 13?" He has asked this twice now. No, no, she is KNOT. She is 9, she just walks like because it's 90 degrees (plusalso have you see her toes?!). I'll be delighted if she makes it to her teens but dang it she's not there yet! Remolacha
I’ve heard Doberman as well, especially for black pups. I always thought Whippets were fairly rare in the US, but I have seen several in my neighborhood over the years, so what do I know?
AnneGTS
Over here Galgo's are in the majority so many people asked if my dogs were from Spain. With Tapas (mixed breed) many people say she looks like a hyena And the other week someone asked of Sasha was Tapas' puppy (Tapas is 3 years old, Sasha 5. The only thing they have in common is that they are both brown, besides that I don't see any similarities ) Quote Anne, Sasha & Tapas.
