Guest kellybrown Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 It was 6 months ago on April 3rd that we got the awful news that no one wants to hear, and it will be 6 months on the 11th of Trooper's amputation. Last Wednesday he started walking and running weird on his back leg, his only back leg. He acts like it is very weak and he sort of falls down. I was literally nauseous watching him fearing the worst. I'm so hoping maybe he has just pulled a muscle. I guess I will call the oncologist tomorrow. I'm just sick thinking of what it could be. jaym1 Posted April 7, 2013 Share Posted April 7, 2013 unfortunately i now know exactly what this is like, and there's really no way out of the worry, especially when you've already had to go through having your worst fears confirmed on the first diagnosis. still, there are so many other things it really could reasonably be. i am hoping for the best. try to stay calm. He had weakness in his remaining rear leg and one time actually collapsed on it in the backyard. We immediately got him in for x-rays and it turned out he had only a sore leg after all. We will hope it's the same for Trooper.
