We've been to several of the same events and I wish I met her, but I feel as if I know her a wee bit after your heartfelt tribute which brings tears to my eyes. MrAlexTheDog Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 as i wrote to you earlier, i'm so sorry about mandy's passing. it was a privilege for me to meet both you and her, as she was the only near relative of any greyhound we've adopted over the past 20 years that i've ever met. even though we've only seen each other -- what, four times? -- i always looked forward to seeing the two of you. her bunny-soft neck fur was incomparable: i was glad that she let me rub my face in it. and her ears were amazing. i don't mind you sharing the picture i took of mandy at GIG earlier this year. i like your "walking in the woods" picture better than mine, actually. although not as many as you must surely have, i have good and fond memories of her. rest well, mandy, and be whole. one day, mandy, you'll get to meet sadie and she'll try to get you to play with her.
