fourofem Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 I just heard that Nellie Belle Caskie had her dinner, curled up on her bed, and went to sleep. We should all be so lucky. When one of my friends loses one of theirs, it's like I lose one of my own...I turn into a big crybaby. Nellie was 14 years old, fiesty as could be and deathly afraid of thunderstorms. Susan knew her time was coming but she was still eating like a champ and getting around "okay" and was trying to prepare herself. Nellie took care of that for her tonight. Susan and her brother are on the way to their river home to bury her....it was Nellie's favorite place. Rest well Nellie Belle.....no more thunderstorms sweetie .
