Guest leemc Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I just spoke with one of her doctors. They called here at 3am this morning that she began to vomit. Then they called back an hour later to say that she stopped and was breathing on her own! He just said that she seems to be the same- no worse.( it is now 10am) They are very surprised at how well she is doing. Surviving this is very rare. He called it "intestinal contortion". Over night she asperated fluids into her lungs so now the fear is pneumonia . Please keep up the prayers for my dear Gracie. I am heartbroken but I am praying to God and St Francis the patron Saint to animals for her recovery. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayer, it means so much to me.
