Guest amour Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 I had to make the decision to let my boy go. It hurts so bad but he was declining and did so much more since this AM.. His spleen was more enlarged than previously,hasn't been able to keep anything down, lost 6lbs since Wed. He was soooooo special to me and carried me this past year thru a lot of personal stuff. We couldn't run any more test because the vet didn't think he would make it thru the anestisia. I was blessed to have him for 2 very short years. When I got him I was hoping to give him a wonderful life for a long time to make up the for the time and quality of life that these pups have at the track. I wanted to go see him but with his disposition felt it would do more harm than good He was a beautiful 7year old brindle that stole my heart like no other has ever done. :( We will never know the cause.
