Never Will Forget You, Iberia...

Sometimes the memories just blindside you, and come flooding back. On my way to work, Sting's "Fields of Gold" played and I almost had to pull over because it was hard to see through the tears.

My heart knows exactly how you feel. I have moments like that with my two girls who have been gone 5 and 6 years now. Gods peace run through you dear one. This kind of love for these babies is completely understood and respected here.

Since Jack died, I pulled my ipod out of the car and have pretty much only listened to talk radio. I used to sing with him (he sang to sometimes) in the truck and now, I just can't handle the music. On top of it, I went to the local reunion two weeks ago, and everyone was asking for Jack. The band started playing the Beatles "In My Life" and it was everything I had not to sit and cry.

 

I love music - but it does bring out all sorts of emotions.

 

May you at least find comfort in the good memories of Iberia and the fact that there are those of us out here who understand the grief when we have lost our babies.

Isn't it the truth? I still remember the song I heard when my dalmatian was on her last ride to the vet in 1999. To this day, I turn off

the radio when it comes on-it still starts the tears flowing.
