Guest mdituro Posted April 5, 2010 Share Posted April 5, 2010 Lily came into our lives after shortly after we lost our first girl, Fortune, just three and a half years ago. At first, she was the shyest little thing you could imagine, but soon, she blossomed and became quite the vocalist - rooing at the drop of a hat! And oh, how Lily could sing! We will never forget her insistence at dinner time that we "do it now!" Or, that she would absolutely not tolerate our leaving the house without giving us the "what for". Lily had to be with her humans at all times - if they were at home - and would search the house thoroughly lest you try to escape her. But, the thing that spoke loudest were her eyes: those big, beautiful, brown, soulful eyes. The house is so quiet now; the silence is deafening. Run free and unafraid my beautiful girl! She was young and in seemingly good health - it was like a bolt out of the blue. One minute she was here ... and then she dropped and was gone. There's a huge hole in my heart.
