TinyMityMo Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 My baby girl could fly. Bailey flunked out of racing because she never broke her maidens. That meant she retired young and healthy. She was our first greyhound and she came to us in September of 2002, just past her 2nd birthday. A handful of times we were able to let her go coursing and she loved it. She was so fast and beautiful when she ran. She wasn't an only dog for long. She didn't have any SA, but she seemed sad and always perked up when we took her to a meet and greet. So, in January of 2003 we got her a big brother, Mr. Murphy. He was her soul-mate and her rock. When she was with him all was right in her world. She got to travel lots and lots with us, going to all sorts of greyhound events. She had a good friend in our little feral baby kitteh Speck. He only lived 9 months as he had some type of inborn error of metabolism. They are together again now. She fought a good fight against fibrosarcoma, living 2 months post splenectomy.
