robinw Posted September 27, 2008 Share Posted September 27, 2008 I got home from work this afternoon and took the dogs for their afternoon walk. Loca had lots of dark orange, very watery diarrhea. When we got home, I found a nearly empty bottle (maybe 10 left) of High Potency Vegetarian multivitamins. It was a bottle of 90. I called my vet's office and they suggested I bring her in. Following induced vomiting, activated charcoal and an IV to introduce fluids and electrolytes, it was decided that she should spend tonight, at the very least, at the e-vet for more IV and monitoring. Don't beat yourself up too much. These things just happen sometimes no matter how careful we are. Just last week my foster dog (who is now in his new home), Joey, got out of the yard again b/c I didn't lock the gate....DUH!!! I know that he knows how to open it but I was trying to do a million things at once and forgot to lock it. I hope that you get a good report from the vet soon.
