I always feel that better that it be us left to deal with the pain than them. I will pass on your hugs, which he loves, until his last breath. Thank you for the thought that it is better for us to bear the pain than him, I think that helps. I still can't believe I'm saying this. He cried last night and nothing helped his pain ..I don't want him to have another night of pain like that. I'm so sorry. It is the most difficult decision to make and one of the most traumatic things I've ever gone through. My heart goes out to you. May Diplomat have a safe and peaceful journey to the bridge. Just remember he will be pain free and one day, you will be together again. Until then, carry him safely in your heart! Tiger, Bueller and Domino are sending you some sad doggie kisses.
