I usually put it on them every 2 weeks, and no they are not in the water (lakes or pools). Just sprinkle it on their back and sides and rub it it. then I sprinkle some in my hand and rub their chest and bellies and then sprinkle more in my hand and do each leg. makes them smell good too! best of all, NO fleas or ticks!

Don't risk putting chemicals on your babies, we use Lavender Baby power on our and have not had a flea or tick in years! Just sprinkle it on, rub in into their fur, and your done!

Not to hijack the thread, but what if your dog is constantly in the pool...will this still work if applied every 1 - 2 weeks? My guess is the water would wash it off,

Around 8 years ago 2 died from heat stroke because they were in a parade here.

He could have twisted a toe----if his nails touch the floor when he stands the nails are too long ,get a dremel.

Because our Frannie got liver problems from being put to sleep for different problems the vet said no more or she wont wake up , she is 8 now and has not had a dental in over 3 years and she wont let the vet chip the tarter off her rear molars , so we went to Petsmart and bought a baG of KNUCKLE BONES , THE LARGE ONES well she has gone crazy chewing on them and her teeth after 2 days look like puppy teeth.

For the last 2 years we have not had ticks or fleas , once every two weeks we put Lavender baby power on our four and the cats , it works for us and we live out in the country with all the wild life--deer in our yard.
