Oh Jan, I'm so incredibly sorry that she had to go. She wasn't nearly old enough and she didn't get to stay with you nearly long enough. But at least she got to know about the joys of a perfect retirement home for the last year+ of her life. Bringing her home to be with Seamus was a wonderful gift for both of them. Your tribute to her is perfect. I hadn't realized how much she was like Cal--from the delayed retirement after broodmom duties to the long/narrow/short structure to the wonky gait to the medical problems to the quirks...She was like Cal in a stripey coat. I wish she'd had as much time to enjoy her retirement as did Cal. Godspeed Sweet.
