The word that came to mind when I read Blossom's story was serendipity: that you happened to see her trotting toward the road and you stopped to help, that she agreed to approach, that you were able to treat her ailments, that your parents could take her in. She was lucky to find you and your family, and you were fortunate to have her in your lives. Godspeed Blossom.
