  1. Yup, same here, hound #8 all with intact ears.
  2. Oh well. Better be safe than sorry. Give him some extra treats and he'll get over it. :lol
  3. Talk to your Vet about Purina NF. Good information on Canine Kidney Disease.
  4. Arnica gel for the bruising. You can get it at a health food store and most generic drugstores or Walmarts have it.
  5. I put a smaller dish inside the dish and my dogs simply eat around it. They do get yogurt in the small dish,
  6. Ours dogs love both the duck and chicken feets. Even little Rocky, although it takes him too long to eat one. Kevin will break off a toe just for him. :lol
  7. As far as I know, you can give Pepcid with the Derm. That is what my Vet recommended the last time we used Derm. What about acidophiles pills for the gas? I always give meds with food, never on an empty tummy.
  8. I agree, the food is likely the culprit. However, if they get treats, that can contribute to ass gas. Give them acidophiles pills with their meals. I get them at Walmart and the dogs get one when they eat.
  9. Yup, could be butt juice. Also what are his teeth like? If he has bad dentition, he will transfer the smell to his fur when he licks himself.
  10. What kind of flooring do you have in the kitchen? That could explain why the dog is afraid of the kitchen. Sometimes tile, shiny or light colored floors will bother a dog. Slow, steady positive training may help. So can some throw rugs if the floor is tile or linoleum. Sorry about the big D. Honestly, the stress of the floor may be a big contributor to why he won't eat.
  11. Welcome! There are a lot of GH owners in Jax. I am sure someone will be "stalking" you soon. :lol
  12. I am so very sorry that you have lost your sweet Paradise. :grouphug Losing the old guard is so hard.
