  1. We buy from PetsMegaStore all the time and have for years, Never a problem, great response and fast shipping.
  2. I am so very sorry Anna. I loved Ziggy and his adventures. :grouphug
  3. I just hold a piece of treat, get their attention and toss it to them, like a bazzillion times. They figure it out because they get tired of getting hit in the head with their treats. :rofl :rofl Sometimes, dogs never figure it out though. Dancer just stood there, intently watched the treat sail through the air, hit her in the head and fall to the floor. Then she pounced on the treat and ate it. But she was so cute doing it, that we never cared either way.
  4. Sounds like you and Baron are doing well together. I use a regular baby gate and just raise it higher in the door. That way if our cats need to get in or out, they can slip under the gate. Actually, our gate is a wider one because the opening we use it for is wide. Because of the extra width, it is a tad higher than most generic baby gates. But I am at work so I cannot measure it.
  5. It's a personal decision to take then ends away, depending on your dog. Some dogs will shallow the hunk whole and some chew it to get the last bit of bully goodness out of it. I always took the end away from Dancer because I felt she swallowed too big of a hunk at the end. Our other dogs were fine with the ends.
  6. My dogs love these!! We have 4 of them. I call them the testicle toy. :lol But I am not kidding you when I say, they love, love, love them. Disco tries to carry one outside almost every time they go out. And he stands there with his head down, pretending it isn't there. As if we are not going to see it when we slip the muzzles on. :rofl He's so funny.
  7. Okay, try using both the harness and the martingale at the same time. Attach the leash to the martingale and walk in the usual manner, ignoring the harness. Slowly transition to using just the harness. When I walk my spooks, this is the set-up use: Personally, I hate harnesses and do not think they are safer or more secure for the dog. I would never use one for the primary method of walking. When one of our 'Tzu's was diagnosed with a neck issue, I had to buy him a harness. I hated using it and the dog never cared for it either. I twas much easier to carry him around, :lol Of course, that is not practical with a greyhound. :lol
  8. Just get a lined martingale from any number of sellers in the Pet Merch, forum. And a lined tag collar. Also, some dogs just have bald necks.
  9. Denamarin is good stuff. I used it with Donner for a couple of years. It can be purchased OTC from other sources and much cheaper than your Vet can sell it for,. Good luck.
  10. Definitely sounds like LS. Your Vet can rule out other things and acupuncture will help. Supplements will also help, like borage oil, fish and Vit, E, boswellia, flexseed oil and we had positive results with Springtime Inc. supplements. Night poops happen with older dogs Probably with older people too. I can't wait. :lol Good luck and hope your baby gets good results.
  11. Add benefiber or metamucil to your current diet, or your dog's diet. Don't spend the money for "high fiber" food.
  12. Donate them to your local shelter or rescue.
  13. Normal. Melatonin is awesome for coat growth. 10 mg a day. We also use Vit. E, a fish oil and a flexseed/borage/fish oil supplement. All our dogs have great coats.
  14. :nod :nod And you have to be vigilent about doing it at least twice a day. Nail bed infections can be nasty and they can be hard to clear up.
  15. Yup. Cats sleep on their backs also. Of our 8 greyhounds, we have had some who do and some who don't. That's just life with dogs.
  16. When we go on vacation, our pet sitter stops by 3 times a day, about 8 hours apart. She comes in the morning between 6 and 6, at noon between 12 and 2 and at night between 9 and 10. The dogs go out in the yard and she takes care of the cats, the dogs and whatever else the house needs. She seldom has potty accidents or other issues with the schedule.
  17. Look up vestibular and see if it sounds familiar. :grouphug
