  1. Oh, please. Get over yourself. If you have nothing useful to add, which obviously you don't, move on to another thread. Melatonin is not expensive and is OTC so it's worth a try. And besides, if your dog ends up with a nice coat, you can burn in judgment hell with the rest of us.
  2. :rofl Sweet!! And we had Danger's nuts removed. So I guess surgery for cosmetics reason is a no-no judgmental thing also. And I decided that clipping nails were a tiresome chore so I had all their nails removed too. Happy tail is a pain so their tails are next. :rofl
  3. We have had successful hair growth with Melatonin in our house. Our dogs get 10 mg once a day. Although, there are still bald buns, but not nearly as bald as when the dogs first came home. Probably the most remarkable hair growth that I can attribute to Melatonin was Disco's baldness on the underside of his neck. It filled in and he has nice fur there now. If I notice a storm coming up, the two freaks get another 15 mg's and wear their thunder-shirts during the storm.
  4. Image does not work, but it sounds like the typical bald tummy that many greys have. The "rash" is probably zits or black heads and most will go away with a warm compress and gentle squeezing of them. Not an emergency in my house. But I do enjoy squeezing Disco's zits occasionally. :lol

    Bree...

I am so very sorry for the loss of Bree. Comforting prayers to you and Dot.
  7. Yup, all dogs burp. And cats too. We consider belching in our face as a sign of affection in our house. Belching from the dogs, that is! :lol
  8. Kidney Disease I did not feed JD any special diet after he was diagnosed with ERF and CHF. I kept him on meds. and a couple of supplements. I am drawing a blank on the powder I added to his food right now thought. He did well for about 3 years after he lost his eye. I think that if the other eye hadn't gone, he might still be hanging in there. JD was a 'Tzu.
  9. It's a personal choice that each owner makes based on their research and comfort. I buy HW from PetsMegaStore and have for years with no problems. If my dogs develop heartworms from using it, I am the one who lives with the decisions and/or guilt. Do the research, make a choice and live with it. No one should try to guilt or bully someone into any kind of medical treatment or decisions.
  10. I don't know brand names at all. However, I tried a coupler a few times and hated it. It takes time, training and patience to get the dogs to work together. Length will also be a personal choice and depend on how your dogs adjust to the coupler.
  11. Have his stool checked for worms and regardless of the results, I would worm him every 10 days for about a month with Drontal Plus. Danger had several bouts with hooks and I finally just bought Drontal Plus from AU and wormed the heck out of him. It cleared up his poop problems and he has not had food issues since. Due to economic crisis in our house, we switched from Solid Gold Lamb and Rice to Purina One Lamb and Rice with no problems.
  12. All of ours LOVE the dehydrated chicken & duck feet!!

  16. I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful friend.
  17. I feed once a day about 4 p.m. or so. Our dogs do fine. They do get a treat whenever they come in from potty time in the yard. So perhaps 5 or 6 small biscuit type treats a day. Although Danger does think he is going to die by 5 p.m. if we are late. :lol
  18. I have 42 Denamarin tabs for large dogs, one unopened bottle of Marin 30 chewable tabs, along with 14 Marin in another bottle, totaling 44 Marin tabs. and 62 caps of Livaplex from Standard Process. Denamarin sells for about $75.00 for 30 tabs, package has 42 tabs. Marin sells for about $30.00 for 30 tabs., package has 44 tabs. Livaplex sells for about $20.00 for 90 caps, package has 62 caps. I would like $85.00 for the entire package, including shipping anywhere in the USA. PayPal only. Drop me a PM please. We will get it out to the first buyer this week. Do the math, it's a good deal. These are all OTC supplements.
