  1. I'm with all the above posts, so sorry he couldn't stay longer but he knew you loved him & will forever.
  2. Sorry Orion had to leave. Hugs to you he was a handsome boy.
  3. My DD's first grey was a dedicated crotch sniffer. Whenever I went to the house I had stand against the wall while greeting all the dogs or his nose was shoved up my butt! When I went the farm to pick up my first puppy the breeder asked me if I knew how greys like to greet & when I told him about Whimpee he laughed & said that's what he was talking about. I wanted to name my pup Dr. P but DD said that wouldn't be good. Now DD has a small girl that loves to greet that way & then push her head between your legs. It is a dog thing & I guess they just take the way they greet each other over to greeting people.
  4. I'm sorry to see this. She looked like a special girl.
  5. Ducky, I'm sorry to see this.
  6. My grand-pups! Bully is a funny boy, when Laura took Noelle ( whippet) to her house he figured he could beat her as she is smaller than his sisters, what a surprise for him as she loves to run too!
  7. Lucy, please give Legs a gentle hug & kiss from me. Traveler had heart problems but they got so bad in a matter of days that he didn't even get to try the meds before running to the bridge so I will keep Legs in my prayers that he does better.
  8. These pee pills work as long as you are consistent in using them. My DD has a young girl that needs them & as long as she gets her pill there are no piddles & she can sleep on the bed but they run out of pills she has piddle problems.
  9. So sorry Heidi had to leave. Hugs to all.
  10. Keeping my fingers crossed for Legs. Hugs to both of you.
  11. My DD had a boy that died the same way. Hombre greeted her when she got home from work, went outside to do his evening laps around the yard & just colasped. It was very hard on all of us but he'd had a good life & died doing what he loved doing. I'm sorry for your loss.
  12. Welcome home & Happy Birthday Flower. You are a beautiful heart healer.
  13. I'll be interested in peoples results as one of my DDs girls has a terrible time with itches on one side. The vet has sold some expensive powders that are suppose to help & they do some what. He also had had the dogs switched to grain free kibble which has helped.
  14. My bridge girl Lucky loved june bugs. When we'd walk she spent the time jumping up & catching the bugs on the fly. The vet said it wouldn't hurt but he wouldn't try one. Then Lucky my first greys to eat them too. These bugs crunch where at least worms don't!

    Jet

I'm sorry she had to leave this way. Run free, or should I say fly free Jet.
  17. After using a cattle prod Sunday while help my SIL work his cattle I'm not sure I'd use one on a dog. When I had to prod a 1100 Lbs cow to move her into the squeeze shoot, & she was NOT pleased but moved when I just poked her with a plastic paddle. A cow's hide is much thicker than a dog's skin so I think it might be too much of a shock. Sending many get wet wishes to you & Betty. I'm with Jennifer that maybe the other dog has a medical problem.
  18. Glad to see Rita will be ok. I've always wondered why toy makers put those b-b beads in stuffed animals as children may swallow then too.
  19. Jody, you know there are tons of good thoughts headed to AZ. Watch Jimmie for signs of stress & seizures, this sort of thing has set Noelle off before. Hope all of you got some sleep.
  20. I'm so sorry for your loss. Run free Millie
  21. Thank heavens he's ok! Bet everyone will be happy when he's home again.
  22. What can you use instead of Betadine in this mixture? I'm allergic to Betadine so never have it around,
  23. Judy you did a wonderful job with him. You should send a letter to the peeps people to let them know how they help save him.
