  1. Sending prayers for all. Do Bee it will be ok & you WILL go home soon.
  2. Yes, Noelle is one of those dogs & every day is a gift. I have learned a lot from caring for her & made many cyber friends thru her support group. I would hate to think a dog wouldn't get a chance to know love because it had something wrong.
  3. Ducky, I'm so sorry to see this. There is something special about the big white boys. Go find Traveler, he'll be glad to see you.
  4. So sorry she had to leave you. You do have wonderful pictures (as usual) to remember her by. Hugs to all remaining dogs & you. Godspeed to Jessie, run pain free sweatheart.
  5. Have your vet check for SIBO, this is a fasting blood test. If it comes back this is the problem the treatment in 30 days with tylan & B12 shots or B12 with intrinsic factor capsules, also your vet can do a free consult with the gastro department at Texas A&M.

  11. Sending prayers for Bullitt. I hate it when there is a problem like this.
  12. Hugs to you & Shelby. I've been in you place so understand how it hurts but as others have said, she will tell you. My Sheltie/Spitz was with me until she was 20+ & even thru her having senior moments & not seeing clearly I said as long as she was happy I'd keep her with me which is what I did, she did let me know when it was time & it was the hardest thing I'd done. Just love her for as long as possible.
  13. So sorry to see this. Hugs to you & the campers.
  14. I too had this happen with my Rattie. He did have a tumor but the pain was still terrible. Sending hugs & healing thoughts your way.

  19. I use the lamb version for my girl that has exocrine pancreatic insufficiency & she does very well on it. I did try the duck & salmon versions but she didn't handle them as well. My daughter uses the bison for 3 of her girls & they are doing very well also. There is also a wild boar but we haven't tried it yet.
  20. Ed, I am so sorry. Gus' magnet is on my freezer where I see him every morning. Hugs to you.
  21. Cabs fought a good fight but just couldn't do it any more so Laura let her earn her wings. Both of us fell in love with the sweet black girl the first time we saw her on the farm. She was a wonderful momma & the favorite of the breeder & his wife. Cabs was a talker & if you didn't do as she asked as soon as she wanted she would polk you with her nose & grin at you. She really liked my SIL & would go put her head in his lap as he watched the news. The end of Dec she started limping so Grandma took her to the vet for a check up, he said we weren't going to think the C word but 2 weeks later when she went in for a recheck he said he hated to say but it was cancer. It was in her left front shoulder in a place where surgery wasn't possible so home we came with pain meds & told to keep her happy. Laura has lost 15 wonderful greys since first falling in love with them & 8 of these were to cancers. The farm was shut down & so now I have to let the breeder know as I've always told them when we've lost one of their dogs. Run free Cabriole & look for my Ebony at the bridge, Grandma loves you.
  22. You have such beatiful pictures & memories of your sweet girl. I'm sorry for you loss. Hugs to all.

  24. Sending white light & prayers for your handsome boy. We are going thru this with a 12 black girl. Her first x-rays didn't show the problem either.
