First for you and Ava!
I haven't used them, but have you tried the "bad girl" panties, or adult diapers? They might help contain her accidents, easier for you to clean up and less distressing for her.
I'm not sure what restrictions she may have because of the pancreatitis, but kitties, even more than dogs, need strong smelling food to keep them eating. Maybe some stinky mackerel or sardines? shrimp? Lots of cats are lactose intolerant, but most can tolerate goat's milk, and meat baby food is another good choice.
I was hoping for a better report, but at least he is still here, and it seems, mostly, in good spirits. His quality of life is good now, yes? So, you just have to take it day by day, and hope he will be stable for a long time
Well, that's a relief! sorta I am glad the shoulder isn't osteo, but the toe thing sounds confusing. I think I would have someone else take a look at the x-rays also.
I know what you mean. I am still not convinced that I have all the answers on Fletcher's condition(s). What we are doing is managing his symptoms fairly well, I'll be able to tell better once the heat gets better (in about 6 weeks ). I just don't know what else to test
I hope you have better luck getting answers!
Fletcher has had bouts of rapid breathing, and it seems worse at night. Specialist (internal medicine) thought he had allergic bronchitis, and prescribed an antihistamine, it has helped, and I give him an extra one when he has an "attack" in the middle of the night. He also pants quite a lot from the heat, she's not sure how much that is related.
It's terrible to hear, I know! I hope you can figure out what's going on
Oh NO! Xan, I can't believe she is gone I truly believe Wabi didn't know she had any disabilities, she always seemed so happy. I am so, so sorry
(I wish there was a dandelion icon)
