Happy birthday to my sweet and spunky girl! She’s had a great day filled with visitors and presents and treats and a trip to the feed store. She even got a whole cupcake! I told her now that she is a mature lady she must act her age. I don’t think that’s going to happen.

He's so sweet! Wiki does a tiny little chatter. And a ferocious snoot boop! Two years and she still doesn't know what Down means, but she learned Snoot Boop in 3 repetitions. And she uses it, forcefully, whenever she wants something.

I'm glad Wiki is not the only one. Seems to be a black girl dog affliction. Siouxsie is very cute. And her hack looks a lot like what Wiki does. And I think if she's got tooth issues that could be responsible for more spit/mucus than normal.

My guess is that she is clearing saliva that has built up while sleeping. My Wiki is Pavlov's dog. When she is about to get a really good treat she immediately begins to salivate. Then she does a big hack cough to clear her throat before she takes her treat. 🙄

It seems a bit fast but maybe hiccups? Wiki had them once, I had never seen a dog with them before.

Pee marker Wiki is now lobbying for us to get 2-10 more dogs so she's always got an in house supply of other pee to pee on. In the summer we were walking in the morning. She would not pee in the backyard before we went for our walk. I'm talking 12+ hours sometimes. I am convinced she was holding on to it to spread around the neighborhood. Now we are walking in the afternoons and she has no problem peeing in the yard in the morning. She's a clever one.

You've been through a lot! I'm glad everyone is on the mend. Hope you can get some good sleep now.
