Mine never wear boots. They hate them. I use Mushers Secret to protect their paws and I also stop to rub their paws in my hands, as needed. I live in Canada. http://musherssecret.net/

Some dogs do not like the crate, and I only believe in using a crate if it is a big safety issue. Just take it slow with her.

Sweet, lovely, gentle Ben. I still remember the first time you ever saw him at NCR. I'm so very sorry. He was such a presence in our little group; he'll be missed. I'm sure he's been greeted at the bridge by Phoenix, Loca, Treasure and all of the others.
