    Dreams

    No dreams no nodda.
  3. I just look at them. I only weigh at vet visits.
  4. Hi Shelly. I will get you the info when I am not at work
  5. I am sorry. Been there, done that. We opted for amp and chemo and got 5 fabulous months with our sweet angel Polli. I am so sorry you have to make this decision.
  6. OH NO. I am so sorry. God Speed sweet boy. You will be so missed.
  7. I'd start ruling out allergies. Start with one protein. One. What protein has be been getting?
  8. It is so hard and I am so sorry.
  9. Chloe has a UTI too but we use augmentin 875 mg 1 x a day (human grade) which is the same as clavamox. I never used the baytril. I happen to have it in the house along with penicillin and amox, but for us clavomox works best for Chloe. She gets them about 2 x a year. ETA- I have the script in my name so all I pay is my copay.
  10. Hope he is better. In future, if his tummy is off, give pepcid rather than pepto as pepto contains a salicylate which is similar to aspirin / or what is found in aspirin which means - be careful how much your dog gets as they may not be able to tolerate the amount of 'aspirin' in the pepto. It's just safer.
  11. When I mentioned it to my holistic vet who does the acupunture (not my usual vet) he said he has known some boxers who have benefitted from it. My vet heard about it and read exactly what I had read, not to give if dog has compromised immune system which is my Beau. It can cause tummy upset. That's the small print for the dogs!
  12. <br /><br /><br /> Yeah, I have problems with sleeping as well. So when I read it I thought, hmmmm....maybe I'll try taking it too. You may have to shave your legs more often!!!
  13. Wow....that's amazing!! Robin...do you order it on line? Can you give me the source??? Yeah, Linda- I think I can do that! I just went to CVS and bought the only one I could fine! 3mg capsules by Sundown. I bought a bottle of 90. I was giving 1 cap at night with dinner, but now I do every other night because Ollie is starting to look like a Borzoi
  14. My Elsie is in fabulous shape at 11.5. Gets walked 2 times a day - 1 mile each walk. (we do not walk in the heat of the day. In H H H weather, we do walks at 7 AM and 11PM. She is a panter. She pants if we do not walk. She pants if walk. Sometimes her panting is so bad, I have to turn a fan on to drown out the sounds of her panting or I can't sleep! I had her checked out when she was newly adopted and of course she has been seen several times since then. She is just a panter! Greyhounds are sprinters, not long distance marathon runners. This is very typical of the breed. 5 minutes of play, 6 hours of sleeping it off! Sounds normal to me, just please be very careful about the heat. They are not capable of handling the heat or cold the way your other pup is.
  15. It's an oversimplification as Chad said, but it does give the basics. I don't recall seeing this. A lot of newbies ask about the what is play and what is aggression stance. I know when Teddy gets "aroused" it could be mistaken by someone who doesn't know, that he is happy ...but I know better!!!
  16. Foxy will always be forever in many of our hearts.
  17. God Speed Sweet Pudge. You will be so missed.

No adequate words. Just a horrible tragedy. I am so sorry.

    For Chip

    Hugs to you.
  20. I am so sorry for your loss. God Speed Beauiful girl.
  21. I think you should see what his personality is like and take it from there. I changed all my dogs names whether I adopted them at 2 years old or 10 years old and they all took to their names.
