What can I say about Bobbi? I loved her as if she were one of my own. We spent so many days together whether it was a greyhound event or just hanging at your or my house. Not only was Bobbi a beautiful girl, she had this quiet elegance, dignity and gentleness to her that I have never seen before. There was nothing aggressive about her, even when she wanted something. She was able to get what she wanted and let you know what she wanted in a very graceful and gentle way. And that smile. Bobbi had a smile that could melt your heart. Bobby was a very happy and loved girl. She solicited attention from whoever was around. And nobody ever turned her down. Then, as she was getting petted or her ears scritched, she would turn at look at her mommy as if to say " see what I'm getting". The moment her mommy would leave the room or was out of sight, Bobbi would spring up and look for her. waiting patiently for her return. When she caught sight of Nancy, there came the smile. I can only imagine the hole she has left in Nancy's heart. My heart is shattered along with hers. I will always love you Bobbi and I will forever miss you. Please find your sister- you remember- she is the one with the big mouth! The sisters are together again, This time forever. God Speed Bobbi. I love you.

OMG I am shocked and so sad to read this. Richard was the 1st person to step up to the plate when we were arranging a GUR with Polli and her sister Bobbi 3+ years ago. He was willing to do everything and anything to make this happen for us, from GURing to putting up Rich for as many nights as necessary, We wound up hauling her and her sister, but Richard and I stayed in touch via emails and PMs over the years. My heart is broken for his wife and family. God Speed Richard. Now, you can finally meet Polli.

I have an 11.5 year old broodie who thinks she is about 2.5. No sibs but related through Dutch.

Both my broodies were hand fed. Polli was one thing but Elsie who ate with no problem came here and after 3 weeks of standing and eating at a raised feeder decided she likes to eat on her bed, litterally. Food ON BED. She is 11 1/2 and she can eat any way she wants as long as she eats! For the young dogs... I wouldn't do it.

Bobbi is definitely not a candidate for amp. Her mood is pretty good most of the time but her appetite sux even when she is pain free. You would not believe what Nancy has to do to get this one to eat and even so, Bobbi will go 3 days with NOTHING. That's Bobbi. Keeping this sweet lady in the forfront of my prayers and thoughts.

For Chloe who tends to pack the weight on because of her thryoid, I take out 1/2 cup a day so instead of the 3 cups she gets 2.5 and I substitute with cut carrots. She LOVES them and her weight is where it should be.

99 models are the best and certainly the smartest! We have one here too. Congrats, she is beautiful.

How happy am I? Walking on air! You go Elsie girl. They were 2 different types of cysts. One was a sebatious and the other... I forgot. All I heard was B-9! So... we will continue to plan Elsie's Sweet 16. Ok, that may be some time off, (like 4.5 years ) but you know how these huge events take years to plan! And plan we will.... I would NEVER EVER try and figure it out. As a once mentioned in another thread, Dh refers to Beau as his lamBEAUgini. I would imagine in all total, probably something in the range of about 7-10K. This does not include monthly meds, heartworm, etc.
