  1. What a wonderful life she had with you. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Soldi.
  2. What a beautiful tribute to an exceptional dog. It sounds as if she was meant to be with you. Thank goodness she found you, even though it was in her later years. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Souza.
  3. Unlike us humans, they don't fear that future pain and sadness. Thank goodness that knowledge didn't keep you from opening your hearts and home to such a deserving boy, and bless you for doing that. Though long overdue, Rudy knew that he had found his true forever home. And he knew how very much he was loved. I'm so sorry that you and your precious Rudy didn't have more time together.
  4. Such a lovely, precious little girl. I'm so sorry you lost your sweet Emily.

  15. Oh, the precious boy...I'm so sorry. Though bittersweet, they will have those memories of a wonderful Sandy Paws to cherish.

  17. Oh, I'm so sorry you lost your precious boy.
  18. I'm just seeing this. Claudia, is there anything else physical going on with her---loose stools, off her food, signs of pain? I know how finely attuned to your three you are, and she is probably just as finely attuned to you. This move is BIG. Has anything this big happened since she's been with you? They say moving is one of the biggest stresses for humans (even good stress, like a wedding, is stress), and surely they know something is up. They are such creatures of habit---just like Wayne knows which day to expect the trashman. My Tess, who is certainly not, bless her heart, the brightest of Greyhounds, knows the difference between a week-day and the week-end, early in the morning, even though Doug does nothing different if he leaves the house except for wearing his uniform on week-days, and not on week-ends. Monday through Friday, Tess is fine with him leaving, Saturday, if he goes out without her, the wailing can be heard for blocks! And they ALL know when we're going on vacation. I do have a feeling that this is the case with Ekko. Hey, how are the boys? Not quite as perceptive? In any case, we'll certainly be sending some white light and soothing thoughts out to your sweet girl along with prayers for you, for as safe and stress free move as possible.
  19. Oh, no! And the blood tube broke? It's terrible not knowing what you are dealing with, and wanting so much to make her feel better. She is in our prayers. Please let us know how she's doing---hopefully, that will be soon.
  20. Oh, I'm so sorry you didn't have more time together.
  21. It's clear that the luckiest day of Benny's life was when you rescued him from that shelter. You gave him so much love and happiness, and he returned that tenfold. I'm so sorry you lost your precious boy.
  22. Oh, God, I'm so sorry. Cancer, in whatever form, is such a monster. You've tried so hard. I hope you can have as much quality time as possible with your boy.
  23. How you loved him. And the blossoming of this "unadoptable" into your very special heartdog is a tribute to the love you shared. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Sobe.
  24. I think we all understand those feelings, so you should never be hesitant to share. I feel the same way you do. I didn't want to scatter or bury the ashes of my Greys and cats either, because there is something very comforting in their nearness, looking at the pictures, collars and tags. I have different memory boxes and urns tucked away all over the house. I have to admit that I do something that some people might think is morbid (because I have to take the ashes out of the bags)---but for the last several years, I've brought some of Nick and Winnie's ashes with me to Dewey (in a little jar). They LOVED it there; those trips are some of my most treasured memories, and I just want to have them with me. The last thing we do before we leave is this: we go down to the beach and I scatter the ashes in the ocean. Silly, maybe, but it makes me feel better.
  25. Seizures are so scary. Keeping Luke in my prayers. Please let us know how he's doing.
