  1. I'm so sorry. I've had two with osteo. Cancer sucks! Love on her for the time you have left. You are acting out of love. Hugs!
  2. There is a greyhounds with SLO Facebook group with lots of info and suggestions. Good luck! It gets better. My Mickey lost all nails within a six month period. Later he would sometimes go for six months without losing one, and then only one or two at a time.

    Sonny

I have one that sleeps like that. Hugs!
  4. My Misty also had those symptoms...brain tumor. She wouldn't eat, lost a lot of weight, paced, circled, and I had to pick her up to get her down on her bed. She didn't head press, but would stand in a corner and pant. I had to let her go in November. Hope you have a better outcome.
  5. Such sad news. The right decision is the one you choose.do not second guess yourself or have regrets over your course of action. You are the one who knows how much your family and your dog can endure. Do review the osteo thread. You will find many different experiences. Some dogs live happy years after amp, and some never make it out of the hospital. If only we had that crystal ball! Spend lots of time with her and keep ahead of the pain. Hugs!
  6. Greys have such thin skin, that you can be looking at a large vet bill if one nips another in play. Groups send home muzzles for group play, or for close quarters such as several dogs together in a car. Most owners in the US do not use muzzles on their dogs in public. If you need it for the vet or groomer, you can put it on when needed, rather than walk your dog through a store or waiting room wearing it.
  7. Raw eggs are more fun! They have to figure out what to do with them. I had one dog who carried his first egg from place to place all day. I had to confine him to tile floors. My sick senior would only eat burgers, scambled eggs, or ensure her last week. DO NOT EVER make a scrambled egg with vanilla ensure. The smell drove me out of the house! I had to hand feed her in front of the open window, gagging until it was gone. She loved it!
  8. Yay! I was so worried that you were going to come back with bad news! So happy to hear this update!
  9. Hope all is ok! Please update when you can. We are all thinking of you.
