In fact when I opened this thread my heart dropped in the first nanosecond because the first thing I seen was the picture of her beautiful self and I recognized her instantly. I knew her charm even though I had never met her. It was so obvious. My heart is breaking for you. I am sure she will be with you always. Seeing River again, oh she just takes my breath away. I'm so very, very sad and sorry she had to leave. Thank you for sharing her with us. She's one in a billion, that little minky. We'll all have wonderful reunions someday, I believe that with my heart and soul. Having suffered our own devastating loss around the same time, I can say that every loss is such a unique pain, creating cracks in our hearts. I think River was one of the first lurchers I was aware of - naive me never even thought of the possibility, but River was so sweet and fit into your life with such ease. Words fail me as she was so special like so many of our pups, my heart breaks for you both. She was such a pretty girl.
