robinw Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Phoenix went to the bridge June 4, 2011. I could not write a tribute at that time. It hurt too much. Phene was my first greyhound. I adopted him in 2002 at one of the lowest points of my life. He healed me. He was sweet, easy going and very peculiar, even for a greyhound. He was diagnosed with osteo in late May of last year and I let him go a week and a half later. It was the greatest gift I could have given him. He was pain free. He loved his sisters Treasure and Loca, his cats Linus and Allen, Eric, my dad and me. I hope he is frolicking with Loca, Linus and my dad. Love you and miss you, Phenie. you were the best.
