patricia Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I took the girls in for their check ups today and they did a needle aspiration on a red bump that Pavé has on her tummy. It came back as many mast cells in the aspirate. She is going to start oral prednisone and topical steroids to try and shrink it before surgery. We are heartsick. Prednisone can do wonders for shrinking the tumor.
