Guest Pipi5 Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) My sweet baby crossed the bridge early this morning with his momma & Dr. Blackburn by his side. Another victim of osteosarcoma. He was diagnosed in late January & I chose no heroics, keeping him comfortable until the end. He continued to play, eat like a little pony, grin at the momma & bark when strangers came to the door. He told me last night he was ready. I will miss him so badly... This is one of the very first pictures I took of him in 2004. This is a picture I took of him on 2/13. He was still wagging his tail at me even this morning. So He wrapped his arms around him, and whispered, "Come to me". He didn't deserve what he went through, So He gave him rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best And when I saw him sleeping, So peaceful and free from pain I could not wish him back To suffer that again. Run like the wind sweet Goghbaby.... I thought my tears had stopped and I wouldn't cry for a while but you and I have talked about this.
