Guest kaotic1 Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 Well Sammy is doing quite well since the surgery. Today they put on a lighter Vet wrap. The test results, however, have not come in yet. I am assuming things are behind because of the holiday and bad weather. No news is good news right? The delay doesn't necessarily mean bad things. I am not a patient person. I want to know NOW... Anyway they said 2 more weeks before the stitches in his mouth come out. Doesn't that seem a long time to have stiches in for an extraction (3 weeks)? I would think they would come out sooner than that. Poor boy is going to be on soft foods and no biskies for 2 more weeks. The person who told me that was new there today... I may ask again when i get his test results back. It just seems like a long time for stitches... but I have never had a dog with a tooth extracted before either. Anyone know? Yeah that's what i thought. She might have gotten his foot confused with his tooth? I have to wait till tomorrow to find the test results on the growth. I will ask again when I call on those. YAY... <phew> Now if i can just get him to stop licking his stitches!! Oh and the vet said he can have real food again. Biskies tonight for my cancer free boy!!!
